The Worship Centre Church

Vision

• Transform a gambling casino into a Holy Place for preaching, praying, and ministry.
• Reach the surrounding community by creating a central location visible from the highway.

Challenge

• Young church, limited funds.
• Casino interior not conducive to church atmosphere, needed to remove all interior walls plus a cash vault to create an open area for sanctuary use.

Solution

• Use an aggressive volunteer labor force to do 90% of work.
• Re-used as many on-site materials (chairs, carpet, wall paneling, signage) as possible.
• Worked with the city on re-use of the facility.
• Complete transformation, adding signage to the beautiful exterior to appealing to drivers on the major highway.
